Tournament Mission: The mission of the Zach Morgan Memorial 3v3 Soccer Tournament is to reflect the qualities of Zach as a soccer player and a young man. This is two fold, first the tournament is focused on sportsmanship, skills, friendly competition, respect, and having fun. The second part of the mission is to provide a vast service learning and leadership experience for young people as they are working side by side with adults in planning and organizing such an event.
Tournament Date: The 6th Annual Zach Morgan Memorial Soccer Tournament will be held on June 15th, 2013, at Liberty-Benton High School in Findlay, Ohio.
Tournament Registration: Early bird team registration is $85/team until April 19th, 2013. Team registration fees after April 19th, 2013, will be $100/team and MUST be postmarked no later May 17th, 2013. Each team registration fee includes a tournament t-shirt for each player. Tournament Format: The Zach Morgan Memorial Soccer Tournament is a 3 v 3 format. Each team consists of a maximum of four players with only three players from each team on the field at one time. The field of play is smaller (30 x 15 yards) than a standard size soccer field and there are no goalies. The goal area is a 3 foot radius from the center of the goal and the goals are 4 foot PUGG pop-up goals. The game consists of two 12-minute halves separated by a 2-minute half time. It is a fast-paced game which utilizes foot skills and stamina so get ready for an exciting day of soccer!
